Rethinking the online portal

Once the primary destination online, the classic Internet portal has lost some of it's appeal to social media and other services. AOL, being very aware of this, are continuously looking how to reinvent the concept of an online portal, while still staying true to their existing, loyal users. We joined brainstorm & strategy sessions, along with representatives of every internal department. Our goal was to bring in a fresh, outside perspective and help push AOL into the future. Once we absorbed the complexities of this large corporation, we developed several concepts and fleshed them out in visual designs & prototypes.
